Francois Robert

Stumbled over these while wading through the countless entries from Nadav into this years IPA awards (he must have had a picture in pretty much every category)
Francois Robert (Swiss now living in the US) won the Fine Art Pro section with the below series of images entitled "Stop the Violence" think the concept is so simple and very clever, delivers such a strong message.
His website is a bit slow and sketchy but to see more of his work see his gallery reps site http://www.hammergallery.com/Artists/Robert/robert.htm

Kate Peters

Kate Peters is an English photographer, living in London, apparently "she likes to travel, she rides a bike, she likes to limbo"
She used to assist Nadav Kander, and while she has a similar melancholy to some of her shots id say thats where the similarities end. Love her work, her commercial stuff doesnt grab me half as much as her personal projects but thats just me.
Above is a selection from her project "HOME" and see www.katepeters.co.uk for more of her work.

The Photo Club

Joey L is a US based Canadian photographer-cum-director-cum-rapper. I work with him and he's a friend so i wont blow too much smoke up his ass (as the yanks say) but check out his new video, from his rap group "The Photo Club" Nikon Girl - (its hirarius if your a camera geek if not you'll be a bit eh??)
Check out his work http://www.joeyl.com/ he is very talented and only 19, little fuck.

Elliot Wilcox

Elliot Wilcox is a British photographer, he was recently awarded overall winner in the fine art category of this years IPA. His latest project is COURTS An indepth visual study of indoor playing courts, these hugely graphic, linear images are stunning, remind me of Rothko paintings and i fucking love em.

Phil Toledano

Phil Toledano is an English photographer working out of NY, commercially you could call him a fashion and portrait photographe personally. While technically good his commercial work isnt really me, however i think his personal work is fannytastic with much more realism and it looks like he revels in being able to explore his intimate side without the confines of a commercial shoot. Above are images from his series "Bankrupt" (all images © Phillip Toledano) shooting empty offices vacated by bankrupt businesses. Check out http://mrtoledano.com/frame_projects.html to view more of his personal projects and definately see the beautiful and touching images from the project "Days with my Father"

Gil Inoue

Gil Inoue is a NY based fashion/beauty photographer, however i love her (i think Gil's a she-please correct me i'm wrong) snap shot style in which she documents the behind the scenes of her shoots. To view more of the work see http://www.coletivo.org/gilinoue/fashion.html
